JamBAND is a weekly program offered to students of all abilities who have completed at least 1 year of private lessons. Coached by a master JWY Teacher and comprised of students with comparable skill levels, each JamBANDmate will experience and learn about …
- The arts of songwriting, arranging and performing
- Lessons in effective communication, collaboration, and listening
- Hard work, dedication, creativity, making music and making new friends!
- The all-too-critical task of choosing a band name!
Whether your child’s instrument of choice has keys, strings, reeds, valves or vocal cords, JamBAND is the place they can really rock!
When enrolled in our jamBAND program, we highly encourage your student to continue with private lessons. Band is not a time for a student to learn how to play their individual instrument, but rather a time for students to learn to play together!
