Jam history: Andrew started taking guitar lessons at age 7 and has never looked back! He participated in his high school jazz band and studied guitar performance and music business in college.
Keys to jamming with you: Andrew’s lessons center around the interests of the student. He likes to discuss the bands, artists, genres and techniques that made them want pick up their instrument in the first place and use those conversations to guide the topics they cover, which inevitably evolves with time. Andrew hopes his students gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the instrument and music they love while working on skills like practice, discipline, patience, and concentration that will be useful in many more ways than just learning an instrument.
