How does JWY work with instructors?
At JWY we work around your availability. You’ll be asked to provide the days and locations you are available to teach – then sit back and let us do the rest! You can choose to open everyday for booking, or as little as one day a week. Private lessons typically occur between 1p.m. and 8 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekends.
Sample Schedule
3:30-4 p.m. – Student 1 (15 mins travel time) 4:15-5:15 p.m. – Student 2, 3 same location (15 mins travel time) 5:30-6:15 p.m. – Student 4
What current
instructors say:
“Teaching for Jammin With You has given me so many opportunities to grow and develop as a musician and teacher. With a staff working constantly to find me new students, manage my schedule, and offer support whenever I need, I’ve had so much more time to focus on my musicianship and approach to teaching. Finding private students on your own can be very difficult and time-consuming, but at JWY, the brand is so well-known and the staff is so committed to their teachers, that within the first week of working here, I had a full schedule of students!”
“I’ve been with JWY for six years and it’s the best company I’ve ever worked for. There is a tremendous amount of support from the staff who work around my schedule, allowing me to put all my energy into showing up for fun and energetic lessons. I have over 20 students and have formed strong bonds with all the families. It’s a joy to see my students grow from year to year and perform in JWY SuperJAMS.”
