JAMCAMP

JamCAMP is a fun-filled, half-day weekly camp designed specifically for young children ages 3-6. The camp offers a variety of engaging activities that aim to introduce music fundamentals and foster a lifelong love for music in a supportive and playful environment

KEY FEATURES

AGE RANGE:

Ideal for children ages 3-6

DURATION:

Half-day sessions held Monday – Thursday

ACTIVITIES:

MUSIC FUNDAMENTALS

Basic music concepts are introduced in a fun and interactive way.

DANCING:

Movement and dance activities to music, encouraging physical coordination and rhythm.

CREATIVE PLAY:

Various activities that stimulate creativity and self-expression through music.

SINGING:

Children will enjoy singing a variety of songs, helping to develop their vocal skills.

ROLE PLAYING:

Imaginative play that allows children to explore different musical roles and scenarios.

 

JamCAMP at Jammin With You offers kids a fun, weekly, camp experience exploring music, dance, art and friendship. April and Summer camps available.

Additional Benefits

Mixed Age Groups: Siblings and friends of different ages can stay together, promoting a sense of comfort and camaraderie. No Potty Training Required: Camp is designed to accommodate children at different stages of development without requiring them to be potty trained.

Program Philosophy

JamCAMP is run by JWY, an organization dedicated to providing high-quality, age-appropriate programming that nurtures a lifelong love of music. The camp’s activities are thoughtfully designed to be both educational and enjoyable, ensuring that every child has a positive and enriching experience.

GOALS

Cultivate a Lifelong Love of Music: Through engaging and enjoyable activities, children are encouraged to develop a passion for music.

Provide Age-Appropriate Programming: Activities are tailored to be suitable and enjoyable for young children.

Foster Social Interaction: By keeping mixed age groups, children learn to interact with peers of different ages, enhancing their social skills and giving opportunity for aspirational learning.

Whether your child is a budding musician or just starting to explore the world of music, JamCAMP provides a nurturing and inspiring environment to ignite their musical journey.

9:00 – 9:20

Campers arrive; Free play

9:20 – 10:20

Opening Campfire, JamBABY/JamKIDS style class (singing, dancing and music FUNdamentals)

10:20 – 10:40

Snack time

10:40 – 11:05

Art time

11:05 – 11:25

Two groups: Structured play and music FUNdamentals

11:25 – 11:50

Switch groups

11:50 – 12:15

Lunch time

12:15 – 12:30

Closing Campfire

DETAILS + PRICING

  • $420/week; $340/sibling/week
  • Healthy snack provided (or bring your own!)
  • Weekly enrollment
  • Pizza Thursday for $5.
  • JWY is a nut-free facility. When packing a lunch, please make sure to pack a nut-free lunch.
  • Siblings are not separated by age.
  • Children are not required to be fully potty trained.
  • We often give out 1 marshmallow or 1 Flavor-ice during the campfire portion. Please let us know, in writing, if your child can not have one or the other.
  • A $100 Non-refundable deposit is required, at the time of registration, for families not currently enrolled in other JWY Programs. The deposit can be used towards any week or for rescheduling, if available.
