Clarinet Lessons

OVERVIEW

Clarinets have rich, warm tones that add depth and texture to the music. Their versatile range allows them to play both melody and harmony, making them an essential part of any ensemble. The clarinet’s ability to blend seamlessly with other instruments while also standing out with its distinct timbre is what truly makes it shine. Our instructors go beyond the surface of your typical school band, and our private reed lessons are perfect for students striving for excellence. JWY instructors focus on teaching students the correct embouchure, breath support, tuning, and tonguing techniques (how to articulate on a wind instrument). With our guidance, you’ll quickly secure the 1st chair position!

To enroll in private lessons, students must be 5 years old or turning 5 within the current school year. If you have a 3-4 year old aspiring rockstar, explore our JamKIDS class!
